Underneath the Tree è il primo singolo estratto da Wrapped in Red, il nuovo album natalizio di Kelly Clarkson rilasciato poco più di un mese fà.
Il brano della cantante americana ha riscosso un buon successo negli Stati Uniti grazie anche alle straordinarie vendite dell'album che in pochissimo tempo ha già superato il milione di copie vendute.
Il singolo è stato presentato live dalla cantante in molte trasmissioni televisive e allo stesso tempo è stato anche rilasciato il video musicale.
